About Hoey Built

I’m Chad Hoey, the owner and operator of Hoey Built LLC, a welding and fabrication business based in Canton, North Carolina. I’ve been working with metal since I was 16, and over the past 15 years I’ve honed my craft across the country while my wife, Brooke, served in the U.S. Navy. Welding and fabrication have always been more than a job to me — they’re a way to build something lasting with skill, precision, and pride.

Outside the shop, I’m a husband, a dad of two, and an active member of my community. I care about providing affordable, accessible services that support the people and businesses around me. I also serve on the boards of the Beaverdam Community Center and the Old Smoky Mountain Antique Tractor Association, where I help keep local traditions and connections alive. Whether it’s in my work or volunteer efforts, I always aim to bring the same dedication and integrity that guide every project I take on.
